Hockey team brawl involves coaches [PHOTO, VIDEO], In College: There was a brawl after a pair of college hockey rivals from the Albany area squared off Saturday night.

Coaches and players from RPI and Union exchanged punches after the game, won by RPI, 2-1. Both coaches apologized for the incident but would not elaborate on the cause of the animosity.
In the FHL: The Danville Dashers fell to the Watertown Privateers 6-2. A five-goal third period pushed Watertown to the win on the back of three power play goals.

Aiding the final period barrage was plenty of power play time, thanks to a full-on brawl earlier in the period that saw 152 penalty minutes handed out and both coaches getting involved.

In the NHL: The Vancouver Canucks bested Calgary 3-2 in a brawl-filled contest.

The game was just 2 seconds old when a melee broke out between the teams, with five fights ongoing simultaneously. There were two more altercations before the period was finished -- the two squads combined for 204 penalty minutes for the game.

Television cameras showed Vancouver Coach John Tortorella trying to force his way into the Flames' locker room between periods, with a scrum breaking out in the narrow hallway outside the dressing room.
