Indians P Carlos Carrasco knocked out [VIDEO] by line drive, Indians starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco was treated at a hospital for a bruised jaw after he was hit in the face by a line drive Tuesday night in the first inning of the Indians 4-1 loss to the Chicago White Sox.

Carrasco was flattened by a sharp liner off of the bat of Melky Cabrera that appeared to glance off his glove and right hand before smacking him on the right side of the face.

Carlos Carrasco laid sprawled out on the right side of the pitcher's mound in front of his stunned Cleveland Indians teammates.

Carrasco was treated for a jaw contusion and has no symptoms of a concussion or head injury, according to the Indians manager Terry Francona.

X-rays and a CT scan on Carrasco were negative after being treated at Lutheran Hospital.
