Well the "California Gurls" singer got very original with this birthday, giving her fiance a trip that is truly out of this world!

Katy shelled out a whopping $200,000 to send her actor beau into space!

Virgin Galactic confirmed the spacey gift saying, "It is true. We are very excited to have him onboard. There will be 17-inch diameter windows to look out onto. Passengers will be able to view Earth around 800 miles in any direction from space."

Heading up into space is apparently quite a good time! "They will pop champagne, give you astronaut wings and give you a party," the VG rep confirmed.
