Stuffed mountain lion on porch [VIDEO] was joke on neighbor's wife. A US woman has called the police after she spotted a mountain lion in her neighbour's backyard, only to realise it was a fake.

Beverly Bradham, from Laguna in California, made the 911 call when she noticed the animal sleeping on her neighbour's backyard table, ABC News reports.

"What appears to be a giant mountain lion lying on somebody's patio table," she said in a 911 call.

"That would be pretty scary if somebody walked out and found that. You guys, somebody ought to get down here as soon as you can."

Police and animal control rushed to the home, but Ms Bradham had already called 911 to let them know it was fake. Go here for more including audio.
