LOOK! Driver Nearly Drives Off Cliff, Then Gets Hit By Bus After Climbing From Crash
by Toshiba Reynolds

And you thought you had a bad Monday. I bet it was better than surviving a car crash, climbing out, to only then be hit by a passing bus.

A driver who almost drove off a cliff on Malibu Canyon Road north of Pacific Coast Highway was struck by a bus after stumbling away from the teetering SUV, which was left dangling on the edge of the road.

The man lost control of his SUV, slamming it through the guard rail on the windy canyon road. Still feeling the effects of the impact, he pulled himself out of the car and took a few steps out onto the road where he was struck by a tour bus.

According to a Facebook post by the Malibu-Lost Hills Sheriff's Station, deputies responded around 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The man was treated by California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles County Fire Department before being transported to a local hospital.

"This is another reminder of the need to drive safely through the canyons of our beautiful area and to use extreme caution at the scene of a traffic collision," sheriff's officials said.

CHP is investigating the accident.
